This is the poetic close to a text talking about Argentine artists who died of AIDS in the 90s:
Exvotos, íconos sincréticos, una belleza que resiste obstinadamente su aniquilación y que al mismo tiempo no deja de ser tan deforme como hipnótica, tan dramática como esquiva al sufrimiento. I agree with flesh, but instead of "new", I would say "different". "The body will take on a different flesh".
