PRO (3): Toni Castano, neilmac, Beatriz Ramírez de Haro

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

official border crossing

Probably best in your context. Also known as Ports of Entry.
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : I'd go for port of entry, which would include ports and airports. Border crossing makes me think of arrivals by land.

True, but as they are talking about leaving rather than entering, I just thought it sounded less contradictory.

Port of exit

If "usted salga..." it surely is not a port of ENTRY" . Just the opposite. Lots of Google hits.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Taña Dalglish : Rick, I have removed my entry for a number of reasons; However, IMO, the term is used in the generic sense:https://www.thefreedictionary.com/port of entry (A place where travelers or goods may 'enter or leave' a country under official supervision).

migration port

A 'puerto migratorio' would be an immigration point at the customs part of an airport, station or ferry terminal. Nowadays, the word 'migration' seems to be used more than 'immigration', referring to temporary residencies in other parts of the world.
Example sentence:

Su tiempo de permanencia, automáticamente se reinicia, siempre que, usted salga del país por puerto migratorio,aun su permanencia del país sea de poco tiempo.

Your time of permanence automatically begins again, whilst you leave the country through a migration port, may your time out of the country be short.

Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : This is too vague and a classic case of a word by word translation not working
