Dutch term

reservering vakantiegeld

Non-PRO Dutch to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
In the financial statements for a Dutch NGO, in a table titled Current liabilities, under the category Other current liabilities staff, is the entry: **reservering vakantiegeld inclusief sociale lasten** and **reservering vakantiedagen**.

My search shows that it would be something along the lines of "accumulation of holiday pay including social charges" and "accumulation of holiday leave".
Could someone confirm whether this is right, and if not, point me in the right direction?
Thank you!

'inclusief sociale lasten' Het gaat hier om een zgn. 'opslag sociale lasten', d.w.z. de werkgeverslasten die t.z.t. over het te reserveren vakantiegeld verschuldigd zijn. De vakantietoeslag is meestal 8 procent van het brutoloon en wordt vaak eind mei uitgekeerd en berekend over het loon van 1 juni van het vorige jaar tot 1 juni van dit jaar.

sociale lasten (some options) Juridisch-Economisch Lexicon:

sociale lasten =

• (bkh.) social security costs
• (kwantificeerbare monetaire economische effecten) cost of social welfare provisions
• social policy costs
• (van werkgever) social insurance contributions

FELOnline:

sociale lasten =
• social security costs
• social security charges
• social security contributions

"Note 2 Holiday pay provision – short term employment benefit

Included in current liabilities is a provision for holiday pay of £150,000 brought forward as at 1 April 2015 and no adjustments have yet been made to this opening provision."
