Pues sí;
Ruptura parcial del tendón supraespinoso valorada el 15 de octubre de 2021 por el servicio de traumatología y ortopedia del Hospital General Regional 180.
Cecilia Gowar Jul 13, 2022:
Agree with colleagues I even read "por" the first time...
neilmac Jul 13, 2022:
Typo The "r" and"t" keys are adjacent on a QWERTY keyboard, so it's most likely a typo.
Typo? Could this be a typo—"POT" for "POR"?
Robert Carter Jul 13, 2022:
Typo? Looks to me like a typo of "por":
VALORADA EL 25-10-2021 POR TRAUMATOLOGIA Y ORTOPEDIA

An abbreviation: Physician Optimized Treatment// or // Post-Operative Treatment

1. Oftentimes Spanish-speaking doctors will use many English abbreviations in their records that other doctors will understand, in this case, I find this to possibly mean the best treatment the doctor is suggesting to the patient to treat his injuries.

2. Since the statement is followed by the fact that the patient refused treatment with surgery and was discharged that the information following the use of POT could be the suggested Post-Operative Treatment, which makes sense since Traumatology and Orthopedics are the same fields, and orthopedic doctor is who would prescribe any physical therapy regime; they may be used here possibly for better understanding of whoever reads the file next.

I hope this helps.
Example sentence:

Your previous doctor specified in his notes that his physician optimized treatment (POT) that you needed to be operated on but you refused treatment.
