Italian term

due compravendite

Italian to English Law/Patents Real Estate
agreement for the purchase of one building divided into two apartments by two different members of the same family:

"dichiarano che l'oggetto di quest'atto è costituito da due compravendite; in conseguenza, ai fini di una sua migliore intellegibilità esso viene suddiviso in tre parti, e precisamente:"

Is it ok to translate this as "the purchase of two properties"? With the word compravendita, I never know whether to use both purchase and sale.

Thanks

Italian term (edited): compravendita / due compravendite

(two) conveyance/s on sale

Alas, Deed of Sale is well nigh 'translatorese' and, in England & Wales, would be confusable with a (routinely lengthy) Purchase Deed drafted from scratch and that is used in unregistered conveyancing-only, as opposed to a one-page registered transfer of land (that includes buildings in ENG law).

Conveyance on sale implies a purchase. A 'conveyance on purchase and sale' is a borderline tautology.
Example sentence:

conveyance on sale means a conveyance of property for valuable consideration, whether by way of sale, exchange, or otherwise howsoever:

neutral philgoddard : No, because a gift is also a transfer of ownership.

agree Andrew Bramhall : Exactly Phil! uniquely European concept ( compraventa in Spanish) covering property sales from both sides of the fence.//Just as well you do bother Phil, to counteract the lunatic fringe offerings from different quarters.

Thanks! I don't know why I bother pointing out duplicated questions, since people just go ahead and answer them again.

I had to look that up, and I disagree with it :-)
