An other very familiar (but not slang) expression that must be followed by the reason why you smile:
"tu me fais (bien) rigoler avec tes histoires drôles"
"vous me faites (bien) rigoler avec vos histoires drôles"

"tu me fais rigoler" is may be a little bit to close to "you make me laugh"
