(Non-)translatable items in software related documentation

One of our clients would like us to translate some content that looks like this:

public class Testcase {
public void test() {
String s = "a";
if (s.equals("b"))
s = s.trim();
else ;
}
}

The reason is that in many popular programming languages "if", "else" and others can be localized, for example in vbscript, sql, java etc.
