French term

sonorisation d'une continuité

Non-PRO French to English Tech/Engineering Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
I am looking for the correct translation of a school subject (University) "Sonorisation d'une continuité".
My client studied Film production at a Graduate School of Audio-visual Production and this subject is the only one giving me a headache.
He is asking me to translate it as a photo-novel, but it is basically adding a sound to a photo-novel. According to him it is more than foley, not dubbing, and certainly not ADR... Any ideas?

Discussion

ormiston Feb 4, 2020:
Yes, keep it concise Photonovel soundtracks
Tony M Feb 4, 2020:
@ Asker I wouldn't use 'the', it sounds unnatural; I'd say either 'a', or possibly even just 'soundtracks' in the plural with no article at all.
Maria Callebaut-Blagojevic (asker) Feb 4, 2020:
adding the soundtrack to photonovels Would than this cover it?

Photonovel soundtrack

If he says it's a photonovel, this might cover it.
