But this is how I'd have handled that section: "Having established the brand, it is now important to reach out to the general public. Recent collaborations with other firms have contributed to this strategy and have led to better brand recognition in the industry and among the general public". |

recognition amongst the general public Explanation: The original mistake was probably "les ha donat a conèixer en segments del públic a peu de carrer" which doesn't make much sense. The general public isn't the general public if you are referring to certain sectors or groups of people. "Públic a peu de carrer" could also be translated as "the average consumer" but it doesn't make sense to say "segments". The original is badly written and you will certainly improve it. |
