Danish term or phrase: afkast / forrentning
In an annual report for a life insurance / pension company both afkast and forrentning are used throughout, and each has its own section in the Key Figures section. Both of these terms seem to be best translated by "return" in English. Can someone explain the difference and offer a better English translation for one of them? Thanks!

I do not specialise in this field, but - with the support of Gyldendal - I would use interest rate or interest payment for forrentning.

Gyldendal does also give return, but that is fine for afkast, and then you have two separate expressions.
