further or alternatively Explanation: Note that it is further *or* - rather than - *and* alternatively. Though I agree that the first answer is a neat (Anglo-Irish!) legal drafting technique, I'd prefer 'in the first instance going to one son, subsidiært = *alternatively* to their children and mere subsidiært *further or alternatively*, to somebody else. PS I can find, in the ProZ glossaries, the ENG phrase of 'further or alternatively' only into non-Scandinavian lingos, like Spanish & Polish, but - in transit right now - haven't got time to explore further in Faroese and Icelandic etc. Example sentence(s):
