مقارب اجتماعي...مباعد اجتماعي Explanation: If you learn to do text-based searches on the Internet, using such simple tools as google.com, you will spare yourself a lot of time and effort. Considering the nature of translation assignments that you accept (highly abstract, highly technical), this is an indispensable tool. Here is something I found by searching for these two terms together: http://zimmer.csufresno.edu/~johnca/spch100/culture.htm Sociofugal-sociopetal Axis: The word sociofugal means discouragement of interaction, sociopetal implies encouragement. Axis is the angle of the shoulder relative to the other person. For example, if the speaker is face to face then this is sociopetal.
