All specimens were prepared by using silicone molds made of rectangular custom-made plastic boxes. The plastic boxes were used to form the rectangular silicone molds. The rectangular patterns (15*15*3 mm3) were made of heavy body condensation silicone material. Wax was melted and placed on the silicone molds. The glass slab was used to control the thickness of specimens. The molds were made by placing the rectangular wax in a metal flask with dental stone. The lower half with the flask was added up with mixed dental stone and was allowed to set for 1 hour. The stone surface was painted with a separating medium. The upper half of the flask was placed over the lower half and filled with mixed dental stone and allowed to set for 1 hour. The flask was placed into wax scalding unit for boiling out the wax (100°C, 5 minutes). The halves of the flask were separated. The stone surface was painted with separating medium.

'plaster model' lijkt beter te passen in de context:

II. Making indirect relining in dental laboratory
Preparation: After taking the functional impression on the denture with silicone mass, use Stodent III to cast the stone model.
Fix the obtained model with technical silicone in the fixator (verticulator) in order to maintain the height of the central occlusion set by the dentist during the procedure.
Remove the impression material and prepare the base so that the future layer of Villacryl Hard is of the same thickness.
Apply with a brush the Villacryl Hard Etching uid twice to the mucosal part of denture and wait until it evaporates.
With a brush cover the scalded flask twice with Izo-sol - isolating liquid. Wait for the creation of isolation membrane.

Model preparation: glue with wax or other material (eg Form Plast) the previously bent and prepared metal elements (clasps, bows) on the vestibular side of the dried stone model. Attach the orthodontic screw.
Then use a brush to cover the plaster model twice with Izo-sol - isolating liquid. Wait for the isolation membrane to form. Soak the model base in water until completely saturated (with water).
For working models, use 3rd and 4th class stone, especially Stodent III, Stodent III Ortho and Stodent IV.

scalded plaster/gypsum model ?

Method of use
Preparation: In order to obtain gypsum model in polymerization container, use gypsum of II class (Stodent II), for working models gypsum III, especially Stodent III. After scalding out, apply two layers of the isolating liquid Izo-Sol to the wet gypsum model. Wait until the isolating liquid is absorbed. Clean isolator the surface of the acrylic teeth close to mucous membrane, precisely grind and wet it with monomer. In order to secure proper bonding acrylic teeth with denture plate it is recommended to use product Villacryl Bond.
