German translation: Produktionseinschränkungen im Winter
16:41 Oct 17, 2018
English to German translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Investment / Securities / Fondskommentar September
English term or phrase:winter output curb
In the former, steelmaker XXX curbed returns as the market reacted negatively to its long-term capital expenditure plan and speculation that China’s ***winter output curb*** could be milder.
Explanation: Kurz "steel production china seasonality" gegoogelt und folgendes gefunden:
"Seasonal suspensions
Aside from the targets for permanent downsizing, the government has imposed seasonal suspensions to keep coal-fired steel plants from adding to winter smog in the Beijing area during the heating season."

Within South Korea, steelmaker POSCO crimped performance as its shares weakened on speculation that China’s winter output curb could be milder and in reaction to its long-term capital expenditure plan.
