Ciao a tutti, traduzione + captioning secondo voi a cosa si riferisce? Mi pare che "captioning" venga usato dalle aziende italiane come sinonimo di sottotiolo in generale oppure si riferisce proprio ai sottotitoli per sordi? Grazie mille!

Explanation:
Una differenza tra closed-captioning (CC) e subtitling è che generalmente il primo è nella lingua originale, per i non udenti, e il secondo è tradotto.
L'altra è che il closed-captioning non si limita ai dialoghi, ma include anche rumori ambientali e altre informazioni.

Senza altro contesto, "translation + captioning" lo interpreterei come traduzione del CC, inclusi sia dialogo, sia rumori ambientali / altre info.
