Letter of Condiderations for Designation of Large Ruminant Requirements Plan Explanation: Based on a sample document here: https://docplayer.info/228726784-Pertimbangan-penetapan-renc... it can be seen that this letter provides condiserations in the form of supporting data for commodity requirements plan (supposedly prepared and proposed by importers). It means that the plan is already there; the decision maker (which is a government agency) needs supporting data to designate it as official (i.e. making it government sanctioned) |

DETERMINATION OF ASSESSEMENT OF PLANS TO MEET LARGE RUMINANT COMMODITY REQUIREMENTS Explanation: The essential meaning of this title on the letter issued by the Ministry of Agriculture is that they have taken into consideration, or assessed, or evaluated, or verified the technical requirement in the documents provided by the company (PT…), and on this basis, the Ministry is satisfied that the plans of the company will meet the requirements of the cattle or buffalo and the like (large ruminants), and has therefore made a determination (or judgement, or decision) to grant the company approval to go ahead with the importations. The title of the letter needs to say something that contains this meaning. Often the use of the word ‘Letter’ is not required for English readers because it is obvious that it is a letter. Further the use of the word consideration or considerations misses the point of the document. The key thing is that this is a determination, or judgement or decision, which is based upon considerations, or better, an evaluation or assessment of the company's documents which contains the technical data. I believe this translation is much clearer and more natural than the other options submitted. This is a meaning based translation, not literal. |
