almost like a screenplay Explanation: They're talking about the pitch rather than the show itself, saying that it must tell a story and give a clear mental picture of what the show is about. http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/italian-englis... |

...almost like a set(scenic) design Explanation: Or : As if for a set design As if for scenic design "Scenic/Set design" Scenic design (also known as scenography, stage design, or set design) is the creation of theatrical, as well as film or television scenery. Scenic designers come from a variety of artistic backgrounds, but in recent years, are mostly trained professionals, holding a B.F.A. or M.F.A. degrees in theater arts. Scenic designers design sets and scenery that aim to support the overall artistic goals of the production. There has been a consideration that scenic design is also production design; however, more accurately, it is a part of the visual production of a film or television. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scenic_design -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2021-04-05 15:07:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Typo - "Plan" What I actually mean is a "set design PLAN" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2021-04-05 15:39:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "... [explanation based on discussion entries] Explanation: I'm a bit relunctant to post an answer because I have nothing really to back up my reading of the sentence, but maybe it's worth a shot anyway. So I think the idea is of painting a vivid picture of the storyline and characters, focusing on the visual and emotive aspect of the show rather than any message or deeper meaning (if there is one), drawing the backers in and making them feel like they're watching the scenes. Like staging a play or performance, acting various bits out, voicing different characters. Selling the experience more than the overarching concept. In fact it may make more sense to treat raccontando soprattutto quel che si vede, in forma quasi sceneggiata as the unit of translation here. I think you can allow yourself some poetic licence to get the meaning across. Example sentence(s):
