(BrE) bills of exchange (AmE) drafts and money orders Explanation: 'The term of Bills of exchange is commonly used in Europe, but not in the United States', West SPA/Am. ENG law & business dictionary. mandato all'incasso : money order (my first thought); (also Garzanti) cash warrant, Collins Sansoni. Having studied carefully the subject of negotiable instruments in ENG commercial / business and notarial law, I'm unsure what an 'order for collection' is and of a recovery agency agreement meaning in the first example sentence. Otherwise, the Canon of Evidentiary Construction of 'noscitur a sociis' - 'know a word by the company it keeps suggests money order or cash warrant is right in that string. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 days (2024-02-23 19:07:58 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- "irrevocable mandate to collect" looks and feels like translatorese. If anything, it is irrevocable collection agencies or authorities: even unlikelier in the plural. Example sentence(s):
