I don't recall this (modern - type?) product from my Stockholm banking stint exactly half a century ago, but then I had been working on the foregin exchange desk most of the time.

Escrow account has aöso now crept into use in the City of London, but would apply to deeds and docs. in UK conveyancing vs. cash deposit stakeholding or agency.
