It's an analysis of the nutritional composition of the residue, so you've got a table with calories, carbohydrates, protein, salt etc. in column 1. Column 2 is the result (say 21,40) and column 3 is the unit (say g/100g). Then column 4 is the M.O., which only applies to a few items, including fibre and sugar. So e.g. with the sugar being 17,5 in column 2, the M.O. for that in column 4 is "+/- 2,3".

The M.O. is always a much smaller figure.

There's "marge van onjuistheid", but that gets only one hit.
I don't think it can be a percentage, because in Caspar's example it would be 25, not +/- 3.6.

Is it not more likely to be the percentage of say protein found in the agricultural sample? I.e. the actual residue.

It does look like margin of error, but that's foutmarge, unless there's another word or phrase for it.
What is this agricultural residue? Why is it being analyzed?
