Je nach Fall ist der Satz so oder anders zu formulieren.
Dann bitte mal klar sagen, was an meiner Antwort falsch sein soll! Die Möglichkeit eines Einlaufes kann es nicht sein, zumal der weniger effektiv ist als die Einnahme von PEG. Und dass ich eingangs den nomale Ablauf darstellte, wohl auch nicht. Im Gegenteil! Auch diese Zweiwortanweisung "Bitte Abführen!"an die Schwester muss hierunter eingeordnet werden.
Einläufe werden üblicherweise bei Verstopfungen verordnet und weichen den Stuhl vom Dickdarmende ausgehend auf. Ein vollständiges Entleeren des Dickdarms ist dabei weder gesichert noch gewollt, es sei denn, dass während der Koloskopie die Darminnenseite nochmal nachgespült werden muss. Auch das ist ziemlich selten.
Sollte meine Antwort so verstanden worden sein, dass der Arzt der Schwester geraten habe, ein Abführmittel einzunehmen, so ist das ein Missverständnis. Der Arzt Kärtchen den Patienten üblicherweise in der Sprechstunde auf, wie das Mittel eizunehen ist. während die Schwester das Protokoll führen kann. Das dürfte hier zutreffen. Sollte dies Aufgabe der Schwester gewesen sein, so passt das auch. Nur bei Delegation dieser Aufgabe wäre z.B. so umzuformulieren: "Please inform the patient about taking the laxative".
... das war allen hier auch so schon klar! Nur: die Krankenpfleger nehmen das Abführmittel zum Glück nicht selbst. Auch der Einwand, dass es sich genauso gut um einen Einlauf handeln kann, sollte ernst genommen werden.

Either something like Klysma or Laxans or an "Einlauf." An Einlauf has little to do with taking laxatives. If the first suggestion given isn't an option, there's always "clear bowels": "A successful colonoscopy requires 100% clear bowels.
