Explanation:
As mentioned previously in this thread, there doesn't appear to be a direct known term for "flegmaça" in English outside of translated articles, but considering how this doesn't seem like a process that is inherently "Brazilian", I tried to search further on distillation residues, and based on what I saw, I believe the text may actually be referring to wine lees, which are the sediment that settles at the bottom of wine tanks or barrels.
