Hi there, let'see if women or anybody with some hair style knowledge can help me.
I'm translating some hair styles and how to get those looks. Some part of the text says, "braid or two strand twist hair".
I know to braid is "trenzar" but two strand twist "es trenza de dos hebras". Pues no veo la diferencia si es que estoy en lo cierto.

Yo creo que estás en lo cierto, porque las trenzas habituales son de 3 mechones, pero también se pueden hacer con 2, aunque más bien serían tirabuzones, creo yo... Mira las imágenes de Google y verás que suelen ser los que se hacen las mujeres negras. ¡Espero que esto te ayude!
