Italian term or phrase: URGENT! somma maggiore-minore dovuta e a oggi maturata
Mainly the "maggiore-minore" bit.

This is from a legal document about someone who has had a court-appointed guardian assigned to them and in this section it discusses that the subject wishes to close his bank accounts containing a certain amount of money in them and have the funds transferred to another account:

'E volonta del sig. XXXXX, a mezzo del proprio Amministratore di sostegno, Avoccato XXXXX, di ottenere il trasferimento, mediante bonifico bancario, degli importi di £XXX,XXX o della somma maggiore-minore dovuta e a oggi maturata, spostando l'ammontare totale risultante...sul nuovo conto corrente XXXX'

agree  philgoddard: But I would omit either 'due' or 'accrued', as they both mean the same thing.

Explanation:
---accrued due is a legalistic term of art that had been used at our Solcitors' Office and in Bar Chambers - neither part of which can be 'omitted as redundant'. The sum may have acrued, but not be due until a later date.

In the weblinks, cnisdered (to be) equitable would read in England & Wales (E&W): such sum as is 'deemed just and equitable.'

I had a hunch there is a grossing-up for tax scene, but can't fathom the Italian spin on the matter.

BTW, a court-appointed guardian in E&W is now called a Court of Protection Deputy(ship).
