tachar, acusar y recusar to > challenge, demur or recuse > give notice of impeachment, demurrer and disqualification Explanation: I assume this is a civil context, acusar rebeldia: give notice of default, West, though this string might also verily apply to a criminal scenario of challenging judges and / or members of a *civil* or criminal jury. I am unsure that previous ProZ glossary entries bear out these permutations and combinations. If so, pls. clarify. The way impeachment works legally and politically in English vs. USA law suggests that permutation ought to be included: 'tachar testigos > challenge, *impeach* or object to the credibility of witnesses' West. 'There are a number of ways to “impeach” or attack a witness's credibility. For example, an attorney may ask questions to show that the witness is unreliable ...', South Carolina Bar. Methinks demurrers - very much alive and kicking in UK including Scottish litigation - and recusals will work Transtlantically: 'Notice of Demurrer and Demurrer (CA) by Practical Law Litigation A sample demurrer used by parties when objecting to the legal sufficiency of a complaint, cross-complaint, or answer in an unlimited civil action in California state court.' Quaere: also in Florida..... Example sentence(s):
