the length of the campaign during which the equipment [...] has been in use Explanation: "Campaña" in this context must mean production campaign; it's a standard term in pharmaceutical production, used all the time. And cleaning procedures are usually linked to campaigns. What this means, I think, is that the criterion is how long the current campaign is, and therefore how long the equipment has been in use since it was last cleaned, since it will normally be cleaned at the end of each campaign. Campaigns vary in length, according to the number and size of batches in them. I don't think you can literally say "the length of campaign of the equipment", so I've suggested a more explanatory version. There are a number of possible variants. I haven't posted any references, but I am sure of campaña/campaign. I do a lot of work in this area and as I say it comes up very frequently. |

the lentgh of time the equipment has been used Explanation: Campaña refers to the time a person holds a position or job or is dedicated to certain occupations. So, it may refers to the the time the equipment has ben used. then it would be 'length of utilization' I hope it helps Diccionario Enciclopédico Vox 1. © 2009 Larousse Editorial, S.L.
